PoppyandNana Posted June 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2017 Due to some personal issues we have to change our 1/19 Caribbean cruise to sometime in February or March. Looking at 2/19 Western Caribbean, 10 nights, 3/2 Eastern, or 3/12 Western. Will any of these put us in the middle of 2,000 drunken sophomores? Our experience is that X does not usually attract spring breakers as well as any itinerary over 7 days. But we have only sailed in January for the past several years. This will be our first time in spring break territory.
Fouremco Posted June 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2017 This website should help determining who's on spring break, but a 10 day cruise shouldn't attract to many party animals: https://www.studentcity.com/when-is-my-spring-break

gerelmx Posted June 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2017 (edited) One option is Celebrity Eclipse March 4 or 18, 14 NIGHT EXOTIC SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN. Edited June 23, 2017 by gerelmx missing date
Oville Posted June 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2017 We were on the Spring Break cruise from he!! a couple of years ago on the Connie. It was very unpleasant in many ways but it was a 5day cruise. College kids are not going to book a 10 day cruise. OP, enjoy your trip.
CruisersTimesThree Posted June 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2017 We are booked on the Silhouette for a 12 night cruise 3/3/19 and don't expect many spring breakers due to the length of the cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare keesar Posted June 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 24, 2017 The big weeks for College Spring break are in March. If you want the odds in your favor, I would sail on the February date. The shorter the cruise in March, the greater the chances of having a 'booze cruise'.
casper106 Posted June 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2017 I don't think a 10 day cruise on Celebrity is the cruise of choice for that age demographic.

Fouremco Posted June 25, 2017 #10 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Where are you going? The only itineraries I see are 10 and 11 nights. Do a search on the date. The 12 night cruise is listed. Edited to add that it's a Southern Caribbean cruise out of Port Everglades.
