wispud Posted July 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I'm sailing on Harmony on 7/29 and purchased the premium beverage pkg. Can I get a cocktail or glass of wine in a bar (or restaurant) and leave that venue to take it to my cabin (or elsewhere on the ship)? Or do you have to drink it where you ordered it? Also, when ordering a drink with the package, do you still have to sign a receipt just like if you did not have the package, only it would obviously be a $0 cost? wispud Posted July 1, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Didn't you do it on your other cruises? I don't recall. I didn't drink much on the last cruise, my husband wasn't feeling well a lot of the time.

easyboy Posted July 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 1, 2017 It's already paid for so you can drink it elsewhere in the ship.
Misplaced Texan Posted July 1, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 1, 2017 You are encouraged to grab a bottle of water to take off the ship. The question was about alcoholic beverages. And the answer, as others have noted, is that any purchased beverage (including with your drinks package) can be enjoyed anywhere on the ship. There are a few common sense exceptions such as not bringing glassware onto the pool deck; not drinking in the pool or jacuzzis; and not drinking on line for rock climbing, flowrider, etc. Anything you buy at a bar can be enjoyed in your cabin. I usually order a nightcap and drink it on my balcony. ETA: The receipt thing seems to vary ship to ship and bar to bar. More often than not, I haven't received a receipt. Occasionally they print one, perhaps hoping for additional tip. Sent from my iPad using Forums

No problem taking your drink with you and even back to your cabin. We had the Premium Package on Freedom 4-11 June and only had to sign when it was over the $12 drink limit for the price difference.
