Beach Towels

Hi Everyone, was wondering what everyone does about beach towels while on a day excursion? We are travelling on celebrity end of the month but not sure if i should pack our own or not

They are provided by Celebrity and will be in your cabin before your first port. Just be sure to bring them back with you to the cabin. If not, you will be charged for them.

Recently the towels have not automatically been placed in your cabin the night before a beach port. If you don't get them ask your cabin attendant or get some from the pool deck. Either way, be sure to return them.

We were told by cabin steward he would bring them or we could just grab from the deck. We did grab for one and the other day he brought them. I can't imagine there would be a way for them to keep track of what you took off and brought back. The one day it was pouring so hard we used the towels to keep the water off us and there was a huge basket to throw the towels into when we got back on the ship since they were soaked.

We have always had them delivered the night before arriving at a port. Never had to ask. Do not pack your own.

With the switch to one cabin attendant and no assistant maybe Celebrity figures most guests will return the towels and it is not cost effective for the cabin attendant to supply and collect them. They also used to have different towels for use at the pool and to take on shore. Our last cruise they were the same towels.

It's great to have the beach towel provided by the ship and to get clean ones whenever we wish! :D

ALL cruise lines provide towels for pool and beach! No need to bring towels!

Celebrity used to have towels in one's cabin for shore excursions, but stopped that process a couple of years ago. We just collect them from the pool as required and leave them with our towels etc in the evening for collection by our cabin attendant

We grabbed some towels from the pool deck (gray colored towels) and returned them when we came back. Celebrity also has a nice beach bag which you can take off the ship. It easily fits 2 towels. This bag will be in one of the drawers in your stateroom.
