We are going in October and want to use a private tour. They re licensed and pay taxes as a company.

 

Can we still use the under the new legal guide line? I don't walk well and was told the RCL tour has lots of walking.

From what I've been reading, yes, you can use private tours in Cuba still. A very good one is OldCarTours.com. Rodrigo is excellent with scheduling and replying to inquiries. The guides I had for my trip, Nacho for Havana tour and Yasser for Hemingway tour, were great. SO knowledgeable, funny and gallant! I was a solo female traveler and they treated me like a Princess!

The new regulations are not out yet so who knows what they will be

The cruise lines have the new policies and the cruise lines in many different threads have stated private tours are still OK and will be OK in the future. But, of course, find out for yourselves and do the research.
