where does rccl dock in roatan and which beach is closest?

Last time we went to roatan we took a ship excursion and the drive was at least 45 minutes one way and we got back to the boat right at sail time. We are looking for a beach close to the dock without the long drive. Can anyone help?

Coxen Hole.

 

Maya key is nearest beach but has to be booked through the cruise line.

 

Other fairly close beaches Las Palmas and Club Natale. Beyond that you have Little French key and Parrot Tree plantation but you are getting back to 30-40 minute drives.

RCCL docks in Coxen Hole. Nearest beaches with various amenities are in West Bay. I'm assuming though that you were up in Mahogany Bay the last time and took a ship excursion to Tabayana Beach. Same Beach.

 

However, across from the airport along the road toward French Harbor is Las Palmas.

 

They used to have day passes. You'll need to contact them to see if those are still available. 5 minute taxi ride from Coxen Hole.
