Trevor Fountain Posted July 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2017 You wont have a problem boarding with them at 11.30.
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted July 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2017 I may be wrong unless there is a new hard line policy on this, but I see no reason why family members traveling together cannot check in together. They can check in with you or you can check in with them and I don't believe anyone will question your check-in time. It has never happened to me in over fifty cruises. Maybe some other person here has had a different experience, but as I said, this has never been an issue for us. Oh, by the way, we leave the ship with family members together also. jdshaw1000 Posted July 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Almost nobody pays attention to this. Arrive at the pier when you want to.
reallyitsmema Posted July 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2017 You wont have a problem boarding with them at 11.30. They will have no problem at 10:30 either, if they are sailing from a ship departing from a US/Canada port. Check in times are not being enforced from these ports at this time. Theone2 Posted July 16, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2017 They only put times in to (hopefully) prevent a mad rush. They do not hold anyone to that time. The same applies if you are late. Just don't arrive too late as they need to give the final manifest to the authorities a few hours before departure.
travelnteach64 Posted July 16, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 16, 2017 How do you know what your check in time is?
Merion_Mom Posted July 16, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 16, 2017 How do you know what your check in time is? Some ships put it on your SetSail pass. If you don't have anything on your SetSail Pass, your ship doesn't have check-in times. :)
Ocean Dancer Posted July 16, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 16, 2017 How do you know what your check in time is? When you print out your docs you will be prompted to choose a time. I believe you even have to choose a time if you are Diamond and above, or in suites.....who board first.
