radiancecruiser Posted July 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2017 We have just booked a promenade cabin on Mariner of the Seas, not because we wanted it, but because it was pretty much all that was left, besides a few interiors, and Suites which we can't afford at the moment. Can someone please assure me that it won't be completely horrible?😑 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Forums mobile app

titansrobin Posted July 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2017 I love promenade cabins. Stayed in them on 4 cruises and doing again in February. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
pspercy Posted July 17, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2017 That little extra space the PR cabins give you in the bay window makes a huge difference, they are real bargains. We did 28dys in a PR, on Mariner too:)

radiancecruiser Posted July 17, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Thank you all so much! I know it seems like a funny question, but I was mainly worried about noise, and light leaking in thru the night.... Langley Cruisers Posted July 17, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 17, 2017 ...I was mainly worried about noise, and light leaking in thru the night.... Every cabin we have ever stayed in had black-out curtains. I'd say that will be the least of your concerns. :) Take along a bag of clothes pins from the dollar store for extra good measure, if you're concerned. radiancecruiser Posted July 17, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted July 17, 2017 It's a 7 night cruise boarding at Singapore, stopping at Ho Chi Minh City, and overnight at Bangkok. We've only ever done Sth Pacific cruises, so I'm really looking forward to something different.😀 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Forums mobile app

Ashland Posted July 17, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 17, 2017 We've done the Mariner out of Singapore-Shanghai and loved that particular itinerary (didn't include Bangkok). As far as a promenade cabin goes...just remember to keep those drapes closed at certain times...One night as we sat in the Promenade Cafe we saw a bit more of an elderly gentleman than we wanted
