CruiserBruce Posted July 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2017 If you look at a Google Map, you can see how to get to the beach off South Ocean Lane.
janetz Posted July 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Oasis sails from Port Canaveral, not Port Everglades. ;)
CruiserBruce Posted July 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Oasis sails from Port Canaveral, not Port Everglades. ;) True, but the OP can watch Allure or Harmony, correct?

Corby114 Posted July 19, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 19, 2017 If your waiting for the Oasis Of The Seas leave Port Everglades you will have a long wait. When Royal Caribbean's Harmony Of The Seas entered service in 2016 the Oasis Of The Seas was moved to it's new home port, Port Canaveral. The Harmony Of The Seas leaves Port Everglades on Saturday's and the Allure Of The Seas leaves on Sunday's. They do alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean sailing every week. If you are looking for a place to view the ships either park in Fort Lauderdale and walk south towards the north jetty. If you want to spend a few hours at a beautiful State Park, drive south on US 1 to Dania Beach Blvd in Dania Beach. Drive east to A1A and enter the Eula Johnson/ Von D Midzal State Park and drive north until you reach the northern parking lot. Walk on the beach to the jetty and you can actually hear the sounds of the ship at it passes by. Admission to the State Park is six dollars with up to four passengers in the vehicle. Park closes at dusk.

pjules Posted July 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Just a thought, but you might be able to watch it sail away from the lookout on the 17th St bridge. You can park your car and walk up the bridge. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
nhraformula00 Posted July 19, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2017 If you look at a Google Map, you can see how to get to the beach off South Ocean Lane. This by far the best place too watch. Walk across the street from Pier 66 into the neighborhood and make you way east to s.ocean ln. and anchor dr. there is a walkway between two giant condos too the beach. we have done it several times. Takes about 12-15 min.
