Football on the Dream

We will be on the Dream in November and we were wondering if the Sunday and Monday night football games would be shown anywhere on the ship. Thanks!

Unless Carnival has changed programs lately you will get network feed from Miami Florida. So whatever games CBS and Fox are showing there will be shown on stateroom TVs. The exception to this and one of the reasons Carnival went with Direct TV is that Carnival can show specific games that are featuring teams from the home port of a ship.

 

Monday night is ESPN which is generally not shown in cabins but will be in the Sports Bar. I just reread your post and realized you are on the Dream. Carnival may make an effort to show the Saints game, but it is not a guarantee.

I haven't been on the Dream yet but I've been doing some research for future cruises. It seems that the Dream doesn't have a sports bar but the casino bar has a bunch of TVs and doubles as the sports bar. That's where I'd expect to watch the Sunday and Monday night games. As for the Sunday noon and 3pm games, you'll likely get whatever is being shown in the Miami market.

if smoke bothers you, you can go to the Lido deck, the bar across from the deli had the games on and they even turned up the volume

Not to take this sideways, but..... what are the chances there will be hockey on any of the TV's on the ship? I have a Nov 18 cruise planned and it would be awesome to get the Saturday night Toronto Maple Leafs game - although I am sure Hockey Night In Canada wouldn't be shown. ;)

Depends on the channel. The ship seems to have limited channels. They have ESPN and ESPN2 which will likely be showing college football in November. I've seen the NBA on TNT on the ship. If you're talking NHL Network or NBCSN, I don't think you'll get it. If it's on NBC you will.
