EmilyAnn86 Posted July 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2017 What cruise line has the best accommodations and value for a large family? 2 parents and 5 or 6 kids ages 12 and under.
cb at sea Posted July 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2017 You will need either multiple cabins or a suite that will accommodate 8! Most cruise lines have connecting cabins, and /or suites! Of course, suites are costly....but you could do 2 connecting cabins. RCI has a few balconies that connect to inside cabins, so that saves a bit of money. Not all ships offer that, tho...only Voyager and Freedom class.
mjkacmom Posted July 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2017 We are a family of 7, book well in advance to snag connecting cabins. I've priced out larger suites, they are usually a lot more expensive than connecting cabins.
Woody14 Posted July 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2017 have to agree connecting cabins is the way to go. you could also do a balcony cabin plus an inside across the hall for the kids.
easyboy Posted July 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2017 You may probably consult a Travel Agent who can give you choices, and provide you with the policy of specific cruise lines on booking and cabin assignment of minors traveling with parents/guardians.
