jennybenny Posted August 4, 2017 #26 Share Posted August 4, 2017 We are dual nationality so there are 8 passports to be renewed in our house! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk That sounds expensive! Hopefully your other passports are not as expensive. It certainly adds up quickly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jennybenny Posted August 4, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 4, 2017 That is crazy! I'm a bit neurotic: I usually get ours out of the fire safe a week or so in advance, just to make sure I haven't lost the key or the lock has broken. I also take all the BCs and our marriage license packed in a separate bag from the passport, to be safe. Yes, we had 3 out of 4 in the same year, with DW's the following year. Of course, they'll only hit together once more. I'll buy the kids their first "adult" passport and they'll be on the hook for it after that. Similar situation! Ours all expire early next year but when you need 6 months valid for international travel, it ends up being less than 5 year passports [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rare Keith1010 Posted August 5, 2017 #29 Share Posted August 5, 2017 We just took the family including our three grand children on a cruise. One already had a passport and the kids obtained passports for the two grandchildren. I just think it's a wise decision to do this in case you have to fly home from a location outside the USA. Things happen. Keith
habelson Posted August 5, 2017 #30 Share Posted August 5, 2017 My 6yo has been on 3 cruises in the last 4 years, we have only used BC, we did not get him a passport. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bean24 Posted August 11, 2017 #31 Share Posted August 11, 2017 Got a passport for my 10 month old before his first cruise. He got sick and we had to fly home from Bermuda. What a relief that we didn't have to add worrying about getting the passport, when we had to get home. He's on his second and will have one from now on.
