cruiserdudebobby8 Posted February 8, 2018 #1280 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I just recently booked the Allure for April 2020, a b2b and she is still listed out of Fort Lauderdale. Allure is only doing a short time from Miami.
MADflyer Posted February 8, 2018 #1281 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Voyager would seem to be the likely ship for the 5/9 sailings out of Miami, but Explorer or even Quantum could be wild cards here, with that ship then going to Bayonne for Anthem to cross to Europe for the 2020 season. Or if Indy is replaced by Anthem at Southamton, Indy could go to Bayonne. RCL has confirmed Navigator for short cruises from Miami and Mariner for short cruise out of Port Canaveral on the deployment summary. Enchantment has the short cruise market out of Galveston covered. http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Deployment/2019_2020/2019_2020_DEPLOYMENT_SUMMARY_GUIDE Port Bookings confirm Empress with short Cuba sailings out of Miami Majesty with short Cuba sailings out of Port Everglades. Brilliance with 4/5 day sailings out of Tampa Rhapsody with 7 night sailings out of Tampa Vision with 7 night sailings out of NOLA Jewel out of San Juan INDY with 4/5 night out of Port Everglades. Serenade longer sailings out of Port Everglades.

MADflyer Posted February 9, 2018 #1283 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Explorer or Voyager are both looking to sail to Europe at this time (Quantum could be a wild card for one of them) Port schedules show Exlplorer with the following ports on its mini season in Europe. End of World voyage from Asia via Dubai. 10 May 2019 Gibraltar Cadiz/Lisbon likely. 15 May 2019 Southampton 15 May 2019 Southampton Canary Island 17 May 2019 Funchal Madeira 19 May 2019 Tenerife 20 May 2019 Gibraltar 24 May 2019 Southampton 24 May 2019 Southampton to ? 25 May 2019 Havre Ports 26 May 2019 Vigo Spain Destination unknown...... The other ship Voyager would most likely take over all the other calls booked under Voyager, Explorer and Navigator and do MED, Canary Island and Norway sailings out of Southampton with a TransAtlantic. I will admit, they have done one strange deployment moves including Quantum herself and in some other cases reacting to the competition. Some of those reactions have benefited some areas and ports including Ovation to Alaska and ship adds and changes to PC, Miami and PEV. I guess anything I possible from RCI. The other area that I not accounted for yet is, 9 Nt Southern Caribbean from Florida. Since Navigator is doing the short cruises out of Miami, which ship do you think will do S. Caribbean? Thanks for all the insight you share here.
Desert Cruizers Posted February 9, 2018 #1286 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Cruiserdudebobby8, my TA was thinking the Allure might be moved to Port Canaveral for 2020 so was surprised when I told her she was showing going out of FLL.
Clarea Posted February 9, 2018 #1287 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Canaveral can only dream of longer sailings! We had a few weeks of those with Explorer out of PC a few years ago, before she left for Australia. Very nice to do a Southern Carib cruise out of PC. direptor Posted February 9, 2018 #1288 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Personally, i feel that either Voyager or Explorer will stay in Asia and not having both ships return to US/Europe. Voyager may sail over for the refurbishment dued next year but I believe she will be back. RC has been advertising their ships heavily in Singapore lately with advertisements and sponsorships for dramas to film segments on board the ships. I do not think they will be planning to pull out so many ships from Asia market after all the money they spent on them.
cruiserdudebobby8 Posted February 9, 2018 #1289 Share Posted February 9, 2018 My first biggest question, is Anthem to large for Freeport dry dock. If she is, I think Anthem will be doing the Southampton season, and Indy could be come to Bayonne. If Anthem can fit in Freeport, it's up in the air Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app

Living without a homeported RCI ship on the West Coast (California) of the US for 7+ years, I can attest to that. If tourism/cruising is slowing down in Asia, you can count on ships leaving for other markets.
caribbeanboy Posted February 9, 2018 #1291 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Ah, thank-you, I obviously missed that. I told you Bob..lol So that makes my guess that Voyager/ Explorer will be headed to Galveston for short cruises more plausible together with an Oasis Class I would say. Carnival has 3 ships sailing out of Galveston.

There is definitely a short cruise season currently scheduled from Hong Kong Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. This would seem to be Explorer, but could be Voyager or Quantum as well. Whether it is Voyager or Explorer is yet to be seen, but it is scheduled as Voyager. \Tu 09 Jul 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Fr 09 Aug 2019Voyager of the Seas19002300母港 turn Tu 13 Aug 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Th 22 Aug 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Tu 27 Aug 2019Voyager of the Seas19002300母港 turn 九月 September Tu 03 Sep 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Su 08 Sep 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Fr 13 Sep 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Sa 21 Sep 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Th 26 Sep 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn 十月 October Tu 01 Oct 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Tu 08 Oct 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Sa 12 Oct 2019Voyager of the Seas07001700母港 turn Sa 12 Oct 2019Quantum of the Seas08001800母港 turn Th 24 Oct 2019Diamond Princess07002300 訪問 transit

MADflyer Posted February 11, 2018 #1295 Share Posted February 11, 2018 I hope independence comes to Bayonne Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app That would probably be the most likely at this point with an April/May 2020 to a October/November 2020 Bayonne Season. That would be the 2020/2021 deployment season and shows how the 2019/2020 deployment is related to future years plans.

dub237 Posted February 11, 2018 #1297 Share Posted February 11, 2018 I used to want a ship in Europe year-round, but after seeing the weather in the Med during mid-October, I no longer think it would be a good idea, especially not out of Southampton. MADflyer Posted February 11, 2018 #1298 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Malaga and Lisbon would both be good options for short winter seasons with good flight connections. Malaga's embarkation port opened several years ago and Lisbon's new terminal will be open soon.

MADflyer Posted February 11, 2018 #1300 Share Posted February 11, 2018 They have really been marketing the port trying to get a turn around ship for 2019. I know RCL's line Azamara has a couple of sailings booked out of Lisbon for embarkation. I had understood that there was a new baggage claim area that was opening in 2019, but am unsure what that was about.
