BYOW / Allure of Seas

In our last cruise (@ Carnival) there was a rule that you can bring two bottles of wine when you board to the ship. Is there similar policy in Royal Caribbean? Two bottles per cabin is allowed?

If it is possible, would you recommend to buy wine bottles on Fort Lauderdale Harbor Wine shop or from Airport (as tax free)?

Two bottles per stateroom still allowed.

I'd go to Total Wine in the Harbor Shops near the port entrance on 17th St.

From Royal Caribbean FAQ:

Guests may bring personal wine and champagne onboard only on boarding day, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom. Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing.

Also, about 10,000 threads on this. :D

Since we like to save a buck when we can to splurge on other things, we have in the past got our wine on sale at Publix conveniently located just a short distance from Total wines.

We also pick up whatever else we forgot at the same time.

Safe travels.
