I am considering an EF balcony cabin on E deck:

E7 has a shower only and measures 266 sq ft

E14 has a shower over a bath and measures 256 sq ft

In my mind having a bath would indicate that the bathroom is bigger than normal. Is this a reasonable assumption?

Any other information on EF cabins would be appreciated.

I have previously cruised on the Azura, Oceana and Eclipse.

Thank you.

You are talking about 10 square feet, which us about the size of a bath mat! Seriously, life is too short to worry about this.

I included the size of the cabin for information only. My question related to the bathrooms.

^I agree, I prefer a shower in the cabin - even with the questionable shower curtain. The bath seems to (but in reality doesn't) make the room smaller. And, as you say, having to manouever over the side of the bath can be awkward at the best of times, let alone when there's a little roll going on.

We've had a cabin on Arcadia with a bath and, as Sharon says, you cannot lay in them, only sit.

Having said that, personally I felt it was worth it as I cannot live for any length of time without a bath!

The bathroom size was adequate - they are never large unless you opt for a Mini-Suite or Suite.

It comes down to whether you want a bath or not - it will not make much difference to the size of the room.
