Cabins under Fitness Center

Once and only once we were under the fitness center. We were directly under the free weights. They thumped Morning, noon, and night. Folks lifting too heavy weights and then droping them on the floor. Even after 10pm when the staff used the gym. Yes, we were told that wasn't possible. Until the night I had a customer rep come to our room and listen! We were moved to a new cabin after that. It was cabin L219 on the Star Princess.

Cheers, Denise

It only takes one! And 1 times 3 or 4 times a day could be quite a nuisance.

It is not just being under the free weights area but under the tread mills. The thump thump sound of pax running on the tread mill has to be annoying. This is a whole lot worse than being under the HC when they move the tables and chairs late at night to clean the floor. Stay away from both cabins.

We were not directly under the gym but under the hallway to the changing rooms last week on the Caribbean Princess. We would hear carts rolling over us early in the morning. The treadmills had signs on them saying that they were not to be used before 8 a.m. There was a horrible outbreak of illiteracy. If I had had a cabin under them, I would have gone upstairs and unplugged all of them.
