jpcdds6 Posted September 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2017 I've done this before so I should know , but how do you place your pre cruise order for liquor to be delivered to your stateroom? Can't find anything on myNCL.
asubaru Posted September 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2017 I did it through the pre-concierge. He sent an email about 4 weeks before the cruise requesting our choices of liquor, along with pillow, tea, coffee and water selections. I've done this before so I should know , but how do you place your pre cruise order for liquor to be delivered to your stateroom? Can't find anything on myNCL. boscobeans Posted September 19, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 19, 2017 $80.00 bottle works out to be $5.00 per drink. Cruise ships aren't not for profit businesses. bosco

TriMomma Posted September 20, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 20, 2017 When it says "3 mixers"..... does that mean you get 3 cans of pop only? Do they refresh your mix or garnish? I wouldn't be planning on polishing off my bottle in one sitting. lol
Rare uneamie Posted September 20, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 20, 2017 You may also make a few selections of wine etc by going to you NCL account and selecting "gifts and more" on the left hand side. Then choose "wine" or whatever! This will ensure you have it in your room when you arrive.

I wouldn't be planning on polishing off my bottle in one sitting. lol Basically that is it - 3 mixers - 3 cans of mixing beverage - if ordering the set-up on board when the liquor and mixers are delivered ask the attendant if you can have a few more. If you are in a suite the butler would be the delivery attendant and more in likely be able to get the extras without a fuss. If your mixer is Club Soda - once opened it goes flat in a hurry it is only fair to provide more - Tonic maybe the same - it doesn't hurt to ask. Once your supplied mixers are used up - you can go out to one of the bars and top off your drink - a tip to the bar tender may result in a no charge top off. The Set-Up is a less expensive method of having drinks in your cabin than the UBP and having to go to a bar to fetch the drinks. While the bottles are priced from $80 to $130 they are liter bottles and provide 20 or so shots for making 20 drinks comparing that to a minimum of $7 a drink at a bar or restaurant you are coming ahead with the convenience of self-service. When you first board your cruise ask about it and check it out - 4 750ml bottles of wine with tax grats is under $100. Jnn61144 Posted September 20, 2017 #17 Share Posted September 20, 2017 I called and the rep I got online said she could not find it for my cruise. I found this in another thread. Try emailing the group event coordinator "GroupEventMYSHIPNAME@ncl.com". Obviously change "MYSHIPNAME" to the name of your ship (breakaway, escape, etc.) Put your reservation number as the subject line and see if they can either get you the bar set up or direct you to someone who can help.
