Irons not allowed?

It's not implicitly stated and I know dozens of people who use them on every cruise and have brought them on in both checked baggage and carry on. So Maybe it's the enforcement that's vague.

It's also not stated that a waffle iron is prohibited, either. It says, "including, but not limited to". And whether or not shore based security (not NCL employees) miss a steamer is irrelevant to whether it is prohibited or not.

I don't know a single cruiser that sends thier clothes to be pressed.......

You know of one now. We send our suit, dress shirts and other formal cloths out on the first night of each cruise. Want to have them pressed before the first formal night. Lots of other cruisers we know do the same thing.
