Prices Changes

Any thoughts on where the prices will go with all of the weather issues, cancellations and changes in ports? We booked last week and just curious what others think what might happen. Everyone likes to give their option here at home and they go both ways. Just wondering what other cruisers think. I'm still checking twice a day to a drop, but who knows!

There will be big sales to boost volume most likely on undersold sailings because booking volume has been way off pace the last month

I was curious about the same thing - if prices would go about because of all the cancellations or if they would go down to get people booking.

I just now cancelled my December cruise on the Sunshine. Its already coming down but I'm going to hang in there and hope the price falls more. I can always book it again.

I just checked on my Thanksgiving sailing. My quad cabin went down $80. Since I have an Early Saver fare, I called and got the lower price (difference was given as OBC). I checked on the cabin for my parents-in-law, but they still have the lowest available fare.

 

I guess I will keep checking; with Early Saver, I can change the fare up until 2 days before sailing.

After I posted this question I continued to do my twice a day price check and what do you know! A price decrease. It was for $20.00 but $20.00 is a savings and I'm a happy camper! :cool:

Im going out of Galveston and was told no bargains, if anything prices are up. The deals are out of Florida, so more people going out of Galveston.

 

I sure couldnt find a deal, solo, so far X 2, the singles fares were actually more than paying the fare X 2.

Carnival is very good at raising $$$$ and delivering less quality.

Each time I've checked (for Feb '19) the prices are higher! Oh well, never know, maybe one day get lucky. :)

Checked again yesterday and another $10 lower for a total of $30 down! $30 is great and I'll keep checking. Good luck everyone!
