Does anyone know if HAL still has the affiliation with Dancing With The Stars? On the last couple HAL cruises, the daytime dance classes had become a competition to see who would be selected for the final evening's dance contest and become the winner of a mini mirror ball trophy. Just curious. Sailing soon...

On the ships we were on starting in 2014, Dancing with the Stars was gone.

The last Finale DWTS Cruise was in January 2016. HAL stopped doing it on the Cruises at the end of 2015. The Finale Cruise with the "Stars" from the Show onboard was a lot of fun and we had the pleasure of meeting Florence Henderson (RIP) along with others. The Production Show they put on with the HAL Dancers was one of the best we've ever seen on land or Ship!

 

We enjoyed the DWTS on HAL. On our Prinsendam Cruise in 2014 our two friends made it to the Finale on the last night and one won the Mirror Ball. Great fun!

Like so many things DWTS is now just dust in the wind. I enjoyed watching DWTS on board. And I also liked karaoke, the passenger talent show, Indonesian tea. I could go on..... Now so many past HAL items are just memories.
