Cigar Lounge on Epic

Hi! My boyfriend and I will be sailing on the Epic next week (can't wait!) and he was wondering if it's ok to bring your own cigars to smoke in the humidor cigar lounge onboard or if they require you to purchase their cigars once onboard?

We would only smoke it in the cigar lounge, which is designated for this purpose.

If he would like to enjoy fresh air he can also smoke on the designated smoking areas outdoor. Enjoy your vacation and his cigars! ;)

You can take your own, or purchase them at the bar near the cigar lounge. Hubby LOVES the cigar lounges on the ships, and has met some really interesting people there. Don't forget your matches and your cigar cutter, they do have some you can use if you forget though. That is the only place you can smoke the cigars, there are some who will complain if you even smoke them in the outside area of the lounge. Enjoy!

Oh good catch, I definitely would've forgotten the cutter and matches. Thanks! Will have to double check if those are good to bring on the plane in my checked luggage. Leaving in just a couple days.. can't wait!!!

Bring the cutter. Stop at a drugstore on the way to the port and pick up a disposable lighter. Voila, no hassles with TSA.

Unless you are buying cedar sticks please don't use non-butane lighters as it can ruin the cigar. If you are buying cigars before going just ask at the shop for cedar sticks they usually just give them out for free.

 

They might have them in the cigar lounge as well, can anyone confirm that?

We aren't smokers either, just enjoy the odd cigar. I automatically say matches because it's what we usually use at home (for candles and such).

Unfortunately they don't limit the cigar lounge to serious cigar aficionados (they used to). Usually 9 out if 10 cruisers in there are smoking cigarettes.

It isfun to smoke a cigar in tbe “cigar lounge” just to watch the cigarette smokers roll their eyes at you for smoking a cigar..
