Crism Posted September 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Hey everyone, I will go to talk to the casino host once onboard Majesty, but I figured I would get some ideas here. I'm looking to get into the Casino program on my 4 night cruise next month to carry it into my 9 night cruise in December. I know I'll have to be spendy at the slots, but is there anything in particular I should be shooting for? How hard do you think this will be? Thanks! Rare lazydayz Posted September 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2017 My guess is if you spend $500 per day on gaming, that should do it. They don't expect the same outlay on a four night as they would on a seven night. Good luck.
maryjaden Posted September 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2017 It's not always about the amount of money you spend but is also based on the time spent in the casino playing. So if you're having a good night and can play for a longer time on (for example) $200 compared to spending the same amount for a short time, you will be rated higher for spending more time because them amount going in and out of the machine is higher. EllaDuChien Posted September 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2017 It's pretty simple actually. You need to accumulate 1500 points to get the perks of the casino program (no fee cash advance, etc.). Once you hit 1500 for that first time, you will only need to accumulate 1000 points on subsequent cruises to maintain the perks. There is no set amount of time/money required. If 1500 points costs you $500 or $5000. Just keep an eye on your point balance as you play. Table games do take note of time spent playing as well as money, but slots are points based only. rt1092 Posted September 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2017 You get one point for every $5 you put through the machine (slots but $10 video poker). To get rated $100 off your next cruise you'll need to get 400 points. If you play more and wind up with 800 points It's $200 off, 1200 is $300 off If you get 2400 you get a free inside cabin. My wife usually qualifies for something every sailing and she isn't a high roller, she bets 20 to 60 cent a spin. Stays within our budget of $500 per sailing (but she is usually lucky )
cb at sea Posted September 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Ships require MUCH more "play" than land-based casinos. It's all about how much money flows thru the slots. Takes ALOT!
