Tauranga

I lived there for 12 years; lovely place - but if you're looking for culture, its only a short one hour drive across to Rotorua which is the tourism hotspot for Maori culture. There are some amazing places there and I'm sure you would find something that suits you:)

What type of sulphur allergy?

 

I'm allergic to sulphur antibiotics and never had any problems in Rotorua, and I worked there part time for eight years.

We found Kiwi 360 and Elms Mission House interesting. (I had never wondered how kiwifruit was grown before. :) )

 

Kiwi360 is closed sadly.

I went there 2 years ago, and wanted to go back in December but was told it was closed and could not find them online anywhere.
