garnet115 Posted October 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Can the OBC be used to offset the daily gratuity charges?

foxgoodrich Posted October 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Yes. Your Visa points redemption OBC amount will show in your account as a credit, and it will offset any charges to your account, including the gratuity charged daily. And don't panic - you won't see your OBC in the account until Day 3 of your cruise usually. (Seems like I always see it show up on Tuesday when we embark on Sunday.) I always bring a copy of my confirmation in case there's a problem, but I've never had a problem. Judy
JAMESCC Posted October 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Can the OBC be used to offset the daily gratuity charges?I believe you certainly can. It just comes off the total bill no matter what is on there. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Clarea Posted October 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 15, 2017 (edited) Can you withdraw that as cash to gamble at casino?? Yes, with a 5% fee. However, if you are a member of the casino player's club (invitation only) or have a cash type onboard account, the fee is waived.
