Rare pierces Posted October 30, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted October 30, 2017 The weekend projects started Friday night with the replacement of the light above the bar. I never really liked the one we replaced because I thought it was just too big for the space. I do like the new one as I am a fan of the replica Edison style bulbs. I didn't like installing it. It came as ten sockets with wires and hangers attached and the central fixture with no instructions. There was no rocket science needed but a lot of trimming and stripping of wires that were seemingly designed to resist trimming and stripping. The big surprise was the unexpected bonus of going from three 7W frosted bulbs in a shade to ten 4W bare bulbs. I installed the dimmer on Saturday. zackiedawg Posted November 2, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 2, 2017 More wildlife last weekend... A rare bird, I've only photographed once before, many years ago - an indigo bunting female, finally returned to my wetlands: A pretty orange dragonfly: A basilisk lizard having a rest on a branch: A sleeping black-crowned night heron trying to hide in the trees and have a nap: A male painted bunting hanging out down low by the ground, in the shade:
