cruisr Posted April 14, 2018 #51 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Jeni - there are also two in London: one in Soho, the other at Canary Wharf. My first experience was at the one in Barcelona - disappointed to see from their website it is now "permanently closed". Don’t forget the one in Marylebone. Now we have gotten way OT but the steaks are brilliant.
stamfordian Posted April 14, 2018 #52 Share Posted April 14, 2018 There is another "City" branch in Throgmorton Street but only open Monday-Friday. I pointed out Soho and Canary Wharf as the most likely hotspots for travellers coming to London.
wripro Posted April 14, 2018 #53 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Problem is I eat way too many frites. Wait! Maybe that's not a problem.

We like the one in Mexico City because we can dine outside, bistro-style and people watch. It’s also the closest to home for us!
Joolsverne Posted April 15, 2018 #55 Share Posted April 15, 2018 We ate at the one in Marylebone and it’s the only time I’ve had indigestion. I’m not a fast eater and there was a very definite feeling of being hustled to eat up and clear out. My dessert was dumped on the table before I’d even finished my steak. It’s a real conveyor belt - Not a relaxing experience at all and we won’t be back.
