I have been following the prices on a California Coastal and a Southern Caribbean next year. Both increased in price yesterday by more than the cost of the gratuities. Some deal!

The price hike overnight on cruises I have been watching (in the UK) is almost double the value of the FREE Gratuities that are now included. Great deal :rolleyes:

 

The price for my cruise booked for September 2018 is now more than double the price I got it for two months ago with beverage package included. There is no way I would have booked it at today's prices. I don't think I have known the prices to be so high.

Just checked on our cruise in May and the price has gone up 20%, glad we booked when we did.

That deal ran off (at least in the UK) before this new inc drinks and gratuities. I checked the price a couple of days ago and for a cruise I’m taking next year it was much higher even on Tuesday. The Lord giveth with one and taketh with the other. Azamara have learned the same tricks as their mum. Drives me nuts.

I've just priced one I've been looking at, the base price for 2 has gone up by £400. It was £1800 and £900 and now it's £1505 each but although it says free gratuities, it's adding on another £280 girls gratuities.

RCI with it's three siblings must believe there's a sucker born every minute. Maybe they're right.

 

Even my sister, who's not a CC member, raved about her just returned from Celebrity Med cruise thinking she got a great deal compared to Regent. :p They even paid for several specialty restaurants. She was in a regular balcony cabin. She doesn't cruise much.

Nope. And I didn't even try to disparage her telling me about her experience. Ignorance is bliss. ;p Since she never experienced the real X in it's hay-day pre double/double, I understand why she thought it was the best.

My April cruise on the Reflection is $2,300 pp more than I paid originally for an S1 corner aft suite. A couple of weeks ago it was only $1,400 more. Talk about fluctuation!

I put a 24hr hold on a booking Tuesday night, so I could see if the new offer was any better. It wasn't so I booked the original deal.
