Morecruisesplz Posted November 21, 2017 #27 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Royal pays me to go on cruises. It's all inclusive, so I don't need to pay for anything, drinks, spa, the who shebang. I'd go more often, but, I get taxed on the full list price, and the taxes are killing me. ;-) To be fair, you should consider your loses as cruise fare. ChicAgo_Cruiser43 Posted November 21, 2017 #28 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Newer to the forums- what are these casino deals/certificates that multiple posters are referencing? If there's another thread that highlights ways savvy CC members use to find their deals, a nod in the right direction for that would be appreciated as well. Thanks! A quick google search got me to some CC threads that helped explain the Casino Royale program. Easy enough to understand the concept.

sandebeach Posted November 21, 2017 #31 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Our best deal this year will be the Royal Suite on Enchantment of the Seas for this Friday, 3-day sailing, $2500 for two. Booked it eight months ago with a casino rate. This is our "splurge suite" to celebrate DH's birthday. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
teecee60 Posted November 21, 2017 #32 Share Posted November 21, 2017 What's the best deal you've gotten on any RCI cruise within the past year and what was your secret (which sale, C&A discount, local rate, casino credit, etc. if known)? Any particular time of year or time out from sailing that seems to be the best to look for?. Feel free to share your deals and tips! Just off the Jewel OTS 13 night transatlantic. Paid $531pp for an ocean view cabin, taxes of $75pp, with $200 OBC. Booked with an online agency during their 4th of July sale. My flight from Tucson to Zurich, Switzerland for few days pre-cruise was only $297.80 booked through AIR2SEA. I'm a very happy camper! Newer to the forums- what are these casino deals/certificates that multiple posters are referencing? If you continually loose thousands of dollars gambling, you can get a discount on your cruise... what a GREAT deal...

Firstly, I can say with complete confidence I have received way more in cruises than I have put into the casino on board. Secondly, going to a casino is a form of entertainment that is budgeted for. and of course for every person their acceptance of casinos may differ, we are simply just stating the deals we get from their program. DavyJoneses Posted November 21, 2017 #35 Share Posted November 21, 2017 we have gotten great deals this year. We just got off the jewel of the sea, 13 day ta. Inside cabin cost us about $1300 with a $200 obc. Next is the grandeur, 9 day sailing mid feb, again, inside cabin, $429 with $100 obc. And to top it off, we booked the rhapsody for dec 2018, 14 day ta for about $1200 still staying inside. At these rates, we will sail anywhere, it doesn't matter where or which ship.cheers len lol
Mikew0805 Posted November 22, 2017 #36 Share Posted November 22, 2017 To be fair, you should consider your loses as cruise fare. Why? I don't... I would gamble at a land based casino if I didn't have the option of RCI. I'd lose/win the money whether on the ship or not.
FloridaGirlLovesToCruise Posted November 22, 2017 #37 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Best deal I’ve gotten this year is a five day cruise on the Empress. It goes to Cozumel & Costa Maya with two sea days leaving from Miami on Dec. 9, 2017 for $238 + tax for a total of $683 for both of us. It includes $25 OBC and we have an OV cabin on deck 8. I'm jealous of what you paid, we're probably on the same Oasis sailing, 12/17. I got an ocean balcony for 2 but it came to $1700 including taxes and fees, $1889 with gratuities included. Booked it somewhat last minute a few weeks ago. Looks like you got a much better deal. Right now that same room is $2500 for 2. It's insane how these prices fluctuate on a daily basis. NateUpNorth Posted November 22, 2017 #39 Share Posted November 22, 2017 9 night southern, december dates, on navigator. inside cabin 2 adults 2 kids (both under 12). Almost bang on $2000 CAD ($1575 USD). It's trending around $3150 CAD ($2475 USD) these days so I'm happy with what we paid right now.

We were actually booked on Freedom of the Seas for a month or so and one day the prices of the Oasis just went crazy low, jumped on the deal, next day they were back up again. We live in Orlando so ever since they moved Oasis to the port I've been anxiously waiting to board! We booked this cruise in July or August of this year. We first did the allure in the med, then later that year the allure again for an eastern Caribbean Oasis class has been our favorite so far but we are going to start trying the rest of the fleet soon :P
