Is Casino open while docked at GSC?

On the Epic last week the slots were open but the cashier and tables were closed when we went through around 10 am. Later around 2 when we got back onboard the cage was open and there were a couple tables open.

That was it - I searched the boards; couldn't find the answer.

TIA :)

The casino is open while at GSC. (Tarp14 post that the casino is closed is incorrect.)

Slots are open 24/7.

Tables open at 1 pm (mostly because most people head over to the island for lunch and start to wander back to the ship).

I am so sorry for my "incorrect" information. When we were last at GSC (which was admittedly several years back), the casino was closed. That is what I based my answer on. Glad to hear this is not the case nowadays.

*BirdTravels, you seem to really enjoy calling out individuals by name for making an honest mistake. I doubt anyone here had a hard time figuring out who gave the incorrect information as my response was the first one. I own my mistake. You, however, could use some lessons in diplomacy.

People come to CC to get accurate, timely information. Incorrect information is worse than no information. Sorry if your feelings are hurt when specific posts are identified to be incorrect. It was not intended to be a personal attack against you. It was trying to identify the specific post that provided inaccurate response to the OP's question (which the OP had already accepted as ground truth).

My feelings were in no way hurt by your response (my self-respect would have to be pretty bad for me to allow a comment on a message board to effect that). Seeing as you were the sixth person to correct it, I'm pretty sure the OP got the message with the corrected info. I didn't knowingly give wrong information, it was based on my personal experience. I appreciate those who quickly corrected this. In your response, maybe next time you remember we're talking about a vacation, not the global nuclear crisis. I wish I got it right every single time, however, I can assure you at no time am I knowingly giving out "incorrect information [that] is worse than [none at all]".

Are there slot attendants working 24/7 while the slots are open? If someone hits a jackpot, the attendant handles the cash payout so I would presume they are available whenever the slots are open, but can anyone confirm?

Machines are set to not pay jackpots while anchored off GSC. Jk
