Dining time change

My family was booked for early dinner. All of our documents have said 6pm. Which is a bit early for our likings but the late option is way too late. Well now the documents say 5:30 uh. That’s so early :(. Why would they change times like that? Our sailing is Feb 10, Independence of the Seas

I can't tell you why, but I can tell you that it's happened to others. One option is to switch to My Time Dining and chose a time that suits you better.

Does it now say something like “my family time” dining? That’s the hour we had for dinner when we did MFT.

Exact same thing happened to me, except we sail in January. I'm okay with the half hour difference, but I will not be if they change it again! :o

 

And it doesn't say anything about My Family Dining (it's just DH & I)

Lol...they ALWAYS do that! It's never how it seems but it will work out. If 5:30 is too early (you won't be eating that early, just so you know!), then pick late seating or MTD. There are options!

We went with MTD and got 6:30 for every night. Win win! A feel bad for people who don’t realize this before boarding.

They did the exact same thing to us on our Navigator cruise, changed dinner from 6:00 PM to 5:30 PM for traditional dining.

I switched us to My Time Dining at 6:00PM, easy breezy! :D

We booked a February cruise on Mariner back in August, and we had to take 5.30 because MTD and the later dining time were both booked out way back then....😑
