Splice the mainbrace Posted March 10, 2021 #101 Share Posted March 10, 2021 Before 2019 we had only a 12 day Caribbean cruise in 2004 with Princess so were pleasantly surprised that due to P&O pre2017 cruises we were in the 2nd highest category (Platinum) with priority check in and other benefits. We were whisked through Sydney boarding procedures past long queues which was great. The Princess experience now wasn't really to our taste (we prefer a relaxed luxury hotel feel rather than fun time freddy ships) but in future we will treat them as a destination cruise line rather than one of choice. By that I mean that if Princess ticks the boxes for destination, itinerary and price then we would go with them but not just for a European standard cruise. Do you retain your status, if you haven’t cruised recently (2017)?

I believe so, we had a gap from 2009 until 2017, and I still retained my full status.

We cruised with Princess in 2004 and not again until 2019 and retained status, with all P&O cruises in between which bumped our status up to Platinum level.
