My Time Dining Survey

I just got received an email from RCCL with a My Time dining survey. They asked what I liked and what I did not like about it, as well as my preference of MyTime vs early vs main seating.

I wonder if they are planning to go to all MyTime dining or get rid of it entirely. All MyTime dining certainly didn’t work out the last time they tried it.

I have used My Time Dining since it was introduced - really like the flexibility - last cruise I did pre.book prior to the cruise, but did change time for 5 out of 7 nights. Did get the time and tables I wanted.

I think the experience on Quantum Class failed for a variety of reasons, not solely because it was all My Time when it started.

Having a lot less seats than passengers probably had something to do with it.

I also think I read that the new dining concept affected how many crewmember cabins they had, so they were a bit handcuffed when they decided they needed to add crew.

Have not done Traditional dining since My Time was introduced. To rigid for our liking as we like to eat when hungry, not by a clock. We do however prefer Specialty Dining whenever possible.

If RCL went to 100% My Time Dining, I'd go to 100% non-RCL cruising. Me and my 3 companions had the absolute worst dining room experience last week on Anthem. Never, ever again will I use My Time dining.

I'm on Anthem in 8 days... also intrigued. What happened? Any ideas for us to avoid the same issues?

We recently did a family vacation on the Harmony and was NOT please with the My Time experience, after two nights we ate rest of our meals in the Windjammer.

I received the survey today as well. I would be fine with all my time dining. Not sure that everyone else feels the same way though.

My Time Dining does offer flexibility, but for me the dining experience is all about the service. I want the service of the same waiter and assistant waiter every night. We've experienced the level of service is much greater this way. We've had MTD the last couple of cruises but were still able to get same table, waiter, etc., except the cruise we just finished. They were starting to change the policy, but we just hurried and got there quick to get our table and our waiters.
