Anyone know when they will release whatever offer follows the one posted above? We are going to be on Silhouette Jan 26-Feb 4, so we can take advantage of the current offer until Jan 31, and then theoretically whatever comes next. Just wondering what that might be so we can determine which gives us the better deal!

I'd take a wild guess at Feb 1. We're on Silhouette them middle of March and have our eye on a Southern Carib on Equinox in Sept, 2019. Hopefully something will be out so we can book that. Then we'll see if a TA can improve on it. :)

By booking onboard, you typically get a reduced deposit and additional OBC. For instance, if booking a Veranda, Aqua or Concierge, you will get an additional $150 per room in OBC. The perks are not free.

OBC varies with length of cruise. Transatlantic gets $100.

The bonus OBC for an on-board booking is generally a standard amount so you should not expect it to improve.

Perhaps someone has seen some rare exceptions, but fare prices are almost always the same as on land. The perks are sometimes the same as on land and occasionally two on board vs only one on land. Such is the case currently for May 2019 through April 2020 departures in Concierge and Aqua cabins. The only possible improvement I could see would be a second perk for regular verandas.

Of course the down side to waiting until February 1st would be if the offered perks happen to decrease - both on-land and on-board - without a corresponding price decrease!

Sometimes the perks are free - for example, the current on-board booking for some cruises departing between May 2019 and April 2020 in Concierge or Aqua have the same price fares as on-land bookings yet have one additional perk - thus it is free!
