Excursion help Inverness/Loch Ness

Anyone have any information on excursions at Inverness/Loch Ness? RCI site has no excursions listed at all on the website. Wondering if it's a website glitch or if there are really no excursions there.

There's always excursions from Invergordon as there's not a lot to do in town. However there's local bus service to Inverness if you're interested but cruises companies usually offer tours to local castles / scenery and of course to see the monster in Loch Ness. This website may be useful to you

We figured that we would be "toured out" by the time we reached Invergordon, so we made a reservation at a very nice countryside hotel to go and have a relaxing lunch. BUT, we could not find ANY taxi driver who would take us there, as they all wanted longer fares for the day. As it turned out, we walked the town a bit and then returned to the ship for a relaxing day. And we were glad we did as it was the only stop where we had pouring rain. We did see a crowd of people getting on the local buses to go somewhere.

We enjoyed our tour to Urquhart Castle, boat ride on Loch Ness, lunch, Clava Cairns, and Cawdor Castle with http://www.invergordontours.com/ this past August.

We had a relaxing day when we called at Invergordon. Took the local bus to Inverness, walked around town and then took the boat ride on Lock Ness. Photos here.
