antmilant Posted December 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Manhatten Room, Savor Room or Taste Room. What is the difference between these resturants? Do they have the same menu? Which would you choose? Edited December 27, 2017 by antmilant wrong name

ray98 Posted December 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Same menu. On the Escape for example the Manhattan Room has a band and dance floor in the middle. Taste and Savor are opposite of it and just have a different decor.

weltek Posted December 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Because Manhattan is "fancier," you'll see fewer kids there. The ceilings are taller and it's more grand. Savor and Taste have lower ceilings and you feel in closer quarters. Service and menus are pretty much the same in both. I enjoy Manhattan more because of the music and grander atmosphere. Makes it feel like a nicer date night.
e150club Posted December 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 27, 2017 We went to Taste or Savor for breakfast and lunch most days. We had dinner at Manhattan DR at night, its a bit more upscale and had singers and dancers. That worked well for us.Enjoy.
Rare dsa181920 Posted December 27, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Manhatten Room, Savor Room or Taste Room. What is the difference between these resturants? Do they have the same menu? Which would you choose? We were on the Escape in July 2016. We ate breakfast in Taste or Savor everyday. Usually had lunch in Taste . Service was good. We ate in the Manhattan room for dinner on the nights we did not have specialty dining. The Manhattan is larger, busier, and has Music and a dance floor. Our wine steward made The Manhattan a special experience for us. She did an excellent job of pairing drinks for each course for us. My sister will usually only drink very sweet wine; however our wine steward was able to get her to expand her palate. Marisol even brought special milk shakes for our kids. The next time we dined in Manhattan we requested her as our wine steward. Her special attention made the Manhattan dining experience stand out for us. Rare dsa181920 Posted December 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted December 28, 2017 How does one aquire a wine steward? We were assigned one the first time we ate in the Manhattan room. Every table has one assigned to it. Ours was wonderful so we asked for her the next time we ate there.
trish1c Posted December 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted December 28, 2017 If you want a wine steward you ask the wait staff to send one over. The only difference between the restaurants is the décor, the location & the ceiling height. I think Manhattan has a cabaret show occasionally. Rare BirdTravels Posted December 28, 2017 #12 Share Posted December 28, 2017 The menus are the same. The service is the same. The dress code is the same (shorts are permitted in all MDR for all meals). The Manhattan Room is set up to have a supper club atmosphere with live music during the early part of dinner service. On certain nights, the Burn the Floor dancers will do a mini show, but you have to show up very early and wait for the restaurant to open to get a table on the dance floor. zqvol Posted December 28, 2017 #13 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Manhatten Room, Savor Room or Taste Room. What is the difference between these resturants? Do they have the same menu? Which would you choose? All have the same menu. Savor and Taste are identical, just on opposite sides of the ship. Manhattan is a little fancier, and bigger, with some entertainment, but they are all pretty much the same. Men need long pants for the Manhattan room.
