I am looking for the best Seafood restaurant in Ft Lauderdale close to 17th st or mile or two away. Just want to got our pre-cruise vacation started off with a great meal..Going next week... Thanks..

Kelly’s Landing across from Embassy Suites and back about a block. Eat there every time we’re in Ft. L.

Dive bar where 50 year locals eat = Southport.

Quarterdeck a distant but passable #2.

We eat at Kellys, Quarterdeck, and Boatyard all the time and my personal preference is Kellys Landing.

 

If you are willing to cab or uber, Rustic Inn is definitely worth the fare.

I'd personally skip Quarterdeck. For me - Rustic Inn, Southport, Kelly's Landing, or 15th Street Fisheries. But then again, I'd probably Uber over to Billy's Stone Crab and go nuts on a stone crab claws as a way to get my vacation started.

As a Ft. Lauderdale native I would say Southport raw bar (more affordable) or 15th street fisheries (a bit more expensive) ... both are great seafood restaurants and right by 17th Street

Love the handle.

The big guy at the window bar at Southport was recruited by Bobby. Did something stupid and had his scholarship pulled. Bobby B made sure he got a spot at Missouri I think.
