Diamond - Drinks available

My wife and I became Diamond members on our last RCCL cruise. Our last couple of cruises has been with celebrity. After reviewing the list drink list available during the free drink period my wife is wondering if anyone had any luck in getting Amaretto or Kahlua in the Diamond lounge or at a bar.

Haven't tried Amaretto or Kahlua, but I have been able to get brandy in the lounge. Never hurts to ask.

I agree. My wife was able to get Kahlua in the CL on a recent ship (don't want to get anyone in trouble), by asking, but it was not available on the first night.

It depends on the ship and the bartenders. Just off Rhapsody and they stuck strictly to the list.

On Allure my sister asked fo a Mudslide and was told there was no Kahlua. She tried a Bailey's and cream, but it didn't work for her.

If you like brandy, you might really like the Hennessy VS Cognac. Makes a very nice Alexander...

On the Allure, a month ago, my favourite bartender was in the windjammer. He just had a portable setup but I could order anything from him and count it towards my diamond drink. The best thing was the wine, I managed to get a big red wine glass from Giovanni's on the first night, and he would basically pour to the rim everytime.

 

So, I agree, it all depends on who is serving you.
