We<3WDW Posted January 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Now that the fare viewer tool on the Carnival website is gone is there another quick and easy way to check for price drops? Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Ofmyheart Posted January 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I use ship mate app for all of my cruises and put a price alert on my cruises.
riffatsea Posted January 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I have always just done a dummy booking on the Carnival site. I don't think the fare viewer or other apps are as accurate as using the site directly.

Absolutely correct, but think apps give me reminders to check. Just yesterday did a re-booking on Paradise Oct 18, went from $25 OBC to $50 OBC, not much but better. A small shortcut in doing a dummy booking is to save a bookmark in your browser for the specific itinerary you're tracking. It doesn't save you from inputting all the usual info (number pax, number of cabins, category, etc.) but it does save you searching for the specific itinerary you want. sallysue66 Posted January 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2018 thanks all. I wish Carnival hadn’t done away with their fare viewer. It sure made it so much quicker and easier to check cabins by category for price drops.
Mallow Posted January 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2018 I have used cruise line website. It has price change email notifications. Saved me a few bucks but doesn't seem to have all the fare options so it is good to just check.
