princessliz1 Posted January 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2018 I know this may be tough to find, but does anyone know of a authentic Mexican restaurant in Cozumel closish to port?
villager70 Posted January 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Go out of Royal Terminal turn to the right and walk two short blocks to Carnival Pier. Right at water. PANCHO'S BACKYARD. Have had original downtown for over 30 years. Open air seating or inside and have music for lunch. Nice gardens and surrounding area. Go on Cozumel site and can pull up menus and coupon. RomanceMama Posted January 10, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 10, 2018 We always go to Pancho's since our first cruise on Voyager in '00. My husband likes to tease me that we are on a cruise with food included and yet I "make" him take me to Pancho's and pay for lunch. :D
papaflamingo Posted January 11, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 11, 2018 We're Pancho's fans too. Been going since 1998. We always go to the one downtown... sentimental I guess. If you decide to go there, just tell the cab driver, he'll let you off there. Then you can wander the strip until you're ready to head back. Never been to the one near the port, but downtown is great atmosphere and has a live music. They also have a barrel of tequila out front where you have a sample before you go in (whets the appetite). tdtanc Posted January 11, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 11, 2018 La Mission restaurant has always been where I go. Its down town off the beaten path. Close to Diamonds international and the water fountain. Todd
