Paws for thought Posted January 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Just wondering if anyone can tell me if deck 10 (ncl Gem) is quiet enough for cabins., we have booked inside cabin 10573 and haven't been on the gem before. Also are there many tables for 2 in the main restaurants, what are chances of getting a table for 2? Thanks in advance for any replies.

sanger727 Posted January 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2018 I was on one of the gem’s sister ships (the jade) last year. We had cabins on deck 9. I find that cabins that are sandwiched between other cabins the quietest. Just look at deck plans to see what’s above and below your cabin. Yes, many many many tables for 2. Norwegian MDRs are very similar to going to a restaurant at home. Unless you request otherwise you’ll get a table for just your party.
