Vista tips & tricks???

What are the top tips/tricks/suggestions for Carnival Vista?

I've heard about the full breakfast buffet on Deck 5 for example... (to avoid the Lido crowds)

An example I'd give.... for the Breeze... if you were in the nightclub it was easier to walk out and get a drink from the Piano bar and walk back in to the nightclub.... than to wait in the mass of people at the bar in the disco/nightclub.

Any tips would be awesome!!!

The breakfast and lunch in the Ocean Plaza area (taste area)....is a smaller version of the main buffet but has a good selection...so don't expect all the selections and options as on Lido. You are correct...excellent crowd beater and very quiet. The night club on the Vista uses the Limelight lounge which is the same venue the comedy shows are in. The vista does not have a dedicated nightclub and turns the Limelight Lounge into a nightclub after Comedy shows. Since there is no bar in that lounge.... They roll in a beverage cart (similar to what you would see at a Hotel banquet) for beverages when the Lounge is a night club. You are very close to the Sports bar and Casino bar for other "getting drink" options.

I can't really speak about the crowds on Sea Days as we had a Havana Cabin which had its own dedicated pool/bar area. I did walk up to Serinity area and this is a nice adult only area ...No pool but hot tubs. Has a bar and a salad bar for lunch if you just want something light.

We liked the Vista...Just cruised her the week of Thanksgiving. If you have any specific questions let me know

if you're thinking about giving the Pig & Anchor BBQ a try, go on Embarkation Day soon after boarding (before 12:00 if possible). Most people, especially first-timers, will head to the buffet or Guy's Burger's for lunch, and not think about the BBQ. If you go a bit early, there won't be much of a line, and there will be several tables available. After 12:00, the line gets longer, and you may have difficulty finding an open table. Also, the Pig & Anchor is only open on sea days, and once people discover it, the line can get really long. If you're planning on watching a movie on the big screen on the Lido deck, and want to sit in the cushioned chairs on Deck 10, go early (at least 1/2 hour ahead) to get a couple of seats. There are a limited number available, and they fill up quickly.

The main show lounge- Limeline Lounge I believe, has terribly obstructed views, be sure to arrive extra early for a decent seat. If Flick is still being performed be certain to go, it is very good!

That would be the Liquid Lounge (Main Theater).... Would have been nice if they used a different letter of the Alphabet for the 2 main lounges!! lol

Did they move the night club? It used to be in the Liquid Lounge (Theater)?

I've seen several other posters state the same.... We were on Vista over Thanksgiving and it was in the Limelight lounge. I spend alot of time in Casino and at Sports bar and since I stayed in Havana I would always walk back to stairs in aft section of ship and pass the Limelight lounge and there was always a security guard at entrance....

In serenity, the adult area, they have some different healthier alcohol drinks and a salad bar. I wished there was an adult only pool, but I really enjoyed this spot.

Make sure if you are taking that sky ride, don't keep putting it off like I did. When it rains, they shut it down. I missed out :(

We on her last year from Miami on an 8 days Southern Caribbean cruise, we liked that they had a great dining room breakfast and the newer menu items, we ate breakfast there most days much nicer than the lines at the Lido.

The have a good Asian restaurant upstairs on the same floor as the Italian free for lunch get there early.

Go to the white night dance party get there early get a spot at the atrium bar and sing your lungs out with a bunch of disco hits etc, wear white was a blast.
