sinned19 Posted January 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Hi, How is the coffee in the buffet and dining rooms on the Anthem? Our last few cruises were on Princess ships and we purchased the coffee card to get a good cup. We typically like Dunkin donuts coffee. Thanks

You can get a decent cup of brewed coffee in Cafe Promenade which is included in your cruise fare. La patisserie, which is across from Cafe promenade on the esplanade, has very good espresso based specialty coffee. Royal Caribbean's coffee card is for espresso based specialty coffee, they do not have a premium brewed coffee option like Princess.
ckrobyn Posted January 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2018 The coffee is fantastic! Honestly the best tasting coffee I’ve had on any RC ship [emoji1303] I’m currently onboard and enjoying every cup! sinned19 Posted January 24, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks, so I guess its not the pressed coffee like other ships.
reallyitsmema Posted January 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks, so I guess its not the pressed coffee like other ships. Not sure what you mean by "pressed coffee". Royal Caribbean ships have brewed coffee, not coffee made with syrup like other lines. The only pressed coffee I have ever had is from a french press and I don't know of any ships that serve that in the MDR or WJ.
cb at sea Posted January 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2018 I've never cared much for the buffet coffee....perhaps it sits too long and gets bitter, but the DR coffee has always been good, IMO! As had room service coffee.
