Palm Beach late afternoon with a 4YO

We will be in Aruba from 7am-11pm in late May with our 4yo. Our current plan is to spend the morning at DePalm Island (ship excursion), shower and then head over to the Palm Beach area for the late afternoon/evening.

 

We are pretty go-with-the-flow kind of folks, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a specific area/hotel to target especially with the little one.

Is this all going to be "beach time"? The sun in Aruba is fierce....not sure I'd expose a young child to that much in one day! But, yes, you'll certainly have time.

If you need to seek refuge from the sun and heat with your four year old, there is a modern air-conditioned McDonald's restaurant in Palm Beach. I can't remember if they have a child's play area.

 

There is also free WiFi access there for the parents!

Thanks for the responses. No, this wasn't all going to be beach time. Beach time would be DePalm Island in the morning. I was more looking for a hotel or nice area by Palm Beach for early dinner and entertainment in the evening.
