Are there excursion vendors when you get off of the ship in ARUBA?

We have a day in Aruba in early April. I was considering a Jeep excursion but the company I had settled on told me that they have a contract with Carnival and I have to book through the ship. That wouldn't be an issue except the ship is charging $30 more per person than the tour company. Since we are traveling with kids we usually either book excursions when we get off of the boat - or we book with companies that allow us to pay at the time of the excursion. Has anyone had a positive experience with an excursion that they booked as they got off of the ship in ARUBA?

I don't remember seeing any vendors when we have arrived to Aruba.

I don't either...but Aruba is pretty easy to DIY...read on on Aruba....a guidebook is an excellent source, or google what you might be interested in!

we were in Aruba last week. there were tons of vendors as you exit the terminal area
