Pls describe what they used on this FOS cabin wall

Those are heavy duty magnets that have a hook on them. I bought one to use on our cruise in December. I intended to use it outside of our cabin on either the outside wall or the door to hang a Christmas stocking. Even as heavy as the magnet was, it wouldn't hold the stocking, which was very lightweight. The magnet wanted to slide down the wall. However, the magnetic hook DID work on the inside cabin walls with no problems. My husband said the outside door and wall seemed to be made of a different metal "blend" than those inside. I bought the magnet at Home Depot. I now use it on our fridge at home to hold a calendar.

Like everyone says magnets. Can be bought on amazon. But please read carefully the weight limit. These magnets can hold dif weights depending if hanging on ceiling as compared to hanging off wall. First set i bought had swivel hooks. One eventually broke off. So now i have hooks that screw into magnet

Thanks, OP, for this thread. I have a couple of magnetic clips, but wanted to buy more for our cruise next month. This was a reminder to hope of to Amazon and but heavier clips and some hooks.
