Rare offtopic Posted February 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2018 From my understanding it's illegal under Hawaiian law to have an unlimited alcohol package whether paid for or included in the fare/free.
Rare BirdTravels Posted February 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Is the beverage perk ever offered on the Hawaii cruise? The POA is a US Flagged ship sailing exclusively in the State of Hawaii. Alcohol packages are not allowed under Hawaiian laws.

chengkp75 Posted February 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Actually, if the unlimited drinks are provided to everyone, as the Honolulu dinner cruises do with an open bar, then it is legal. It is also legal if included as part of an all inclusive package, such as the POA cruises booked in the UK. But an unlimited drink package sold as an option, or offered as a perk choice, as is the norm for most every other cruise out of the US, is not legal.
