Toothache on board

Even if you did, most toothaches will need something done to the tooth, which I am sure the dentist would not have available.

 

I could loan the dentist my Leatherman.....it has a nice pair of plyer's.... :D

Anyone ever have a toothache while cruising. What did the medical center do for you, if anything.🤔

 

May not answer your question exactly, but take some cloves with you and press a bud between your teeth where it hurts. Kills the pain till you can get to a dentist.

careful not to put the aspirin on any tissue or you will get an aspirin burn...may take your mind off the toothache though....

My husband had a crown fall off on our 1st day of a cruise. No pain, tho'. He went to Medical. They offered to set him up with a dentist in St. Thomas but he declined. He decided to wait until we got home since it really wasn't a problem.

I had a dentist tell me to put a crown back on with Vaseline. Not sure how it worked because mine came off in the same city where I lived so was able to get to a dentist. I asked what I could have done if I was out of town and he told me Vaseline.

Your travel insurance should cover the dental treatment. Generali sent us to their dentist in St Thomas and they paid up front. Check their website http://www.generalitravelinsurance.com
