Staying one night post cruise near airport--recommendations?

We will be spending our time seeing Rome and Florence before our cruise, therefore ,we would really like to get a hotel close to the airport for our departure the next morning, post cruise.

Any recommendations close to airport? Looking for something near a few restaurants and maybe breakfast for the next morning. Transportation to the airport would be helpful

If you are asking about Rome, as commonly discussed, there is a very good Hilton right in the airport.

We have stayed at the Comfort Hotel Roma Airport twice, second time 2017. It is away from the airport but they offer shuttle service. There are plenty of restaurants near by and it is easy to just walk around the area. They do offer breakfast but we walked to the supermarket less then a block away, bought some breakfast goodies and got coffee at the hotel. We liked the fact that we could easily stroll around and soak up some of the local atmosphere. I even looked at eyeglass frames in a shop and had a nice chat with the salesman. For the Rome airport I also recommend the Hilton Hotel.

 

I have stayed there before when I traveled for business.
