Getaway Bar Hop

Hi there.

We will be on Getaway in a few weeks and the guys think they want to do a Bar Hop over the week and try a drink in every bar.

I think about making them shirts with all the bars written on it, so that they can mark them on the shirt when they finished one.

Now I´m trying to find out, if I found all the bars.

I was on the Getaway in December with my son and grandson for the Western Caribbean itinerary. We did a bar hop on West Bay Beach in Roatan. There are a ton of beach Tiki-type bars along one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. What a wonderful day it was.

The bar in Margaritaville is named the Chill Bar.

There is also the Vibe bar, which extends outside the private Vibe area in order to serve the public.

This is a great idea! I'm stealing for my Breakaway cruise in a couple of weeks.

I'd definitely recommend doing the Glenlivet Scotch tasting on the first sea day at Sunset Bar. Might be a good start to your crawl. $20 per person and you get to taste 3 great single malts paired with chocolates.

Sorry, but I can´t get the image bigger.

On the front is the name of the guys and on the back it says "Getaway Bar Hop" and then there are all the bars listed.

I brought a pen to write on clothing so they can mark the bars they got.

What a great idea!! Where did you have the shirts made up?

We did the same in 2016. We did a one day pub crawl and made it to most of the bars on the ship. The crawl started at 10am and went until 2am (we scheduled breaks and meal times to make sure we could go the distance!). We had t-shirts made also and it was a big hit and a lot of fun!
