ntourtelotte Posted March 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2018 We are going to spend a day at Chankanaab in a couple of weeks. I'm currently working on figuring out how much cash we need for each of our ports days. It says on their website that they take credit cards. Is that just for admission? What about if we want to rent snorkel gear or kayaks? Or buy food? Do we need cash for all that other stuff?
JohninDC Posted March 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2018 Cash would be easier for the multiple purchases you are describing.
LeeW Posted May 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2018 FYI for others going to Chankanaab/Dolphin Discovery. They may or may not be taking US dollars at the park. The Dolphin website says they are not, the park website is unclear. We saw this last year when we tried at another location to use cash and found they needed a passport to take it. Apparently there is an exchange issue for them. A credit card isn't a problem.
