Retchiefcruiser Posted March 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2018 Headed to Barbados in May. So as the title states, Carlisle Bay or The Boatyard?
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I like the Boatyard so I would recommend Boatyard. Keith
JohninDC Posted March 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Carlisle Bay refers to the general area, which includes several beach clubs - Lobster Alive, Harbor Lights, etc. and the BoatYard. Check out the web sites and see which one meets your needs/desires - BY is the one with water toys and a pier you can jump off of - great for teens and older kiddos. Kaytee.D Posted March 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I went to boatyard and had a great time. We got sat right in the front by the crystal clear water and then we went snorkeling with the sea turtles. Food and drinks with pretty good awesome. LittleJones Posted March 16, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2018 Another vote for the Boatyard. Went there on our last cruise and the atmosphere and location is pretty decent. Drinks and food are good as well. Water toys, pier to swing off of, and perfect water makes for a wonderful day. familycruising4ever Posted April 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Lots to do at Boatyard! :D http://www.theboatyard.com When looking at their website it doesn't appear that you can reserve (prepay) your admission. Is it only first come first serve at Boatyard? Just trying to clarify how early we need to get there if we plan on doing that in November of this year.
